Empolitics

At Empolitics, we are committed to providing equal opportunity for young girls and non-binary individuals who seek to make a difference in their community.

We all have been lucky enough to explore opportunities allowing us to discover our passions, but we noticed a problem. Oftentimes, these experiences aren’t catered towards young girls, causing them to remain unmotivated to develop their interests. Instead of just recognizing the problem, we wanted to act on it, and help close this gap in the political field. Thus, we created Empolitics, a way to give back to our community and to share our passions with young girls from all over the world.

We hope to inspire this generation and future generations of young women to be the next leaders of our world and more importantly, feel empowered to take on any challenge presented to them.

We host workshops, panels, webinars, and other opportunities to empower and prepare young leaders for a future in politics.

The mission of Empolitics is to empower young women and non-binary individuals to enter the political field and mitigate the gender gap in politics. We work to achieve this mission through various forms of programming and awareness initiatives.

Our vision is a world where legislative bodies reflect their populations and all women and non-binary individuals have a seat at the table.

Mission & Vison

Core Values

COLLABORATION

We aim to foster a collaborative, cross-party approach to achieving our mission and vision.

INTERSECTIONALITY

We understand the importance of intersectionality in activism, and use it as a guiding principle with all initiatives. We strive to create a world where legislative bodies reflect their populations, and understand that in order to do so, we must eliminate the systemic barriers that restrict marginalized identities.

RESILIENCE

We are inspired by those who turn adversity into hard work and drive, and encourage resilience in all aspects of our work.

Core Values

Our Approach

We work to educate policy makers on issues that connect to our core values.

While we don't directly engage in policy-related lobbying, we lead programs that provide participants of all beliefs with the skills to create change they are passionate about.

Educating Policy

To set the future up for success, we create opportunities that allow high school and college students to gain meaningful experience in the political field.

We curate long-term programs, such as the Virtual Policy Program, as well as one-time webinars, such as our Resume Crafting Workshops.

Creating Opportunities

Raising Awareness

Not only do we raise awareness about the political gender gap, but we also amplify messages that align with our core values.

In the past, we've spread the word about various social issues and amplified the work of organizations working to protect native land.

Have a topic you think deserves more attention? Let us know what we can do to raise awareness via Email.

In the past, we've held workshops centered around networking, resume crafting, and political careers. Through these workshops, we aim to help participants build their own toolkits for success.

We're currently working on curating downloadable toolkits with a variety of resources, subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to know when they're available.
